Steph, RS6 calipers & pads fit straight onto the std RS4 (B5) disks - this should be more than satisfactory for road use.

Keeping my original discs and fit RS6 Calipers that is a good idea, should make a difference for sure without spending too much....

Is there any difference between RS6 calipers and RS6 Plus??

Steph,

The RS6/RS6+ calipers are the same Brembo 8 pots - it's the discs which are different on the RS6+ (cross-drilled).

Steph, they are slighty bigger (5mm), but if you fit them, you need to get a new mounting bracket for the caliper. Try the RS6 calipers & pads with std RS4 brakes first.

Steph, like I said, try just fitting the calipers and pads as a first step (you may need hoses, as I've heard conflicting reports). They should be good enough for road use. If you need more, you can always upgrade to RS6+ discs at a later date (you will need the caliper bracket then). Give MRC a shout, they have done plenty of cars in the past.

Well !! I went today to MRC for a suspension upgrade and i saw a complete set RS6 calipers+RS6 plus Discs.....well i couldn't resist!!! While the wheels are off Doug may you fit this as well!!!!

Really good job he did as always  The difference is massive already even if the pads need to bed in. It's gonna be even better in few miles :D

I am not a silly billy on the road , i don't even do trackdays.! but i have to admit sometimes at high speed my RS4 B5 brakes did let me down few times especially under the rain.......So safety first

So it is worth it!! Thanks MRC for your good job

Looking good Steph. Dont expect those alloys to stay so clean with the RS6 callipers... lots and lots of brake dust created by those big boys
