I needed the layshaft 6th gear, which is part number 01E 311 165 J.

The gearbox should be going together today, so, I will find out if I need anything else or if the two 6th gear cogs are enough.

How about all those online breakers? You can enter what you want and they go national for a breaker who might have one ... never know, you might get a deal ...

Its touch and go, I am sure if it was in your hands it would be! but as it is in mine!

Gearbox should be with me tomorrow/friday. Its then all hands on deck. I believe I have everything I need, and I have my own little team to help! (well, select few that I trust!, but I will be checking bolts!!)

So, hopefully, all going well I will have it back on the road next week and ready for the ring trip!
