Standard is peak 1.4, about 1.0-1.1 at 7000 rpm. Stock turbo can't keep the boost up at high revs -and your engine internals wouldn't like it if it did...

Mine peaks 1.9 at 3500-4500, settling to 1.3 by 7000 rpm. Had it for 4+ years now, doesn't yet feel slow

My car had peak at 1,4bar and hold 0,9-0,95bar at 7000rpm in standard trim.

The biggest problem to engine internals are peak pressure (@ peak torque) and rev limit. So, if you stay with your rev limiter you could run your peak boost until there without problem, in theory (and turbo allowing).

Jani, in your car with close to 400hp and 60Kgfm, it must be more difficult to be used to the power

So if my car is boosting at around 21-22 psi peak then coming down to around 16-18 psi @ higher revs this is ok and i am getting used to the power

i am sure it feels slower though

Sorry to divert a little but, does it matter what boost gauge you have,as in is it better to read in psi or bar?

what do you understand better jubjub?

I understand 30psi(peak) and 25psi (7600 redline) - more than 2.05 Bar and 1.7Bar so I have a gauge with psi. I'll need a new one though as 30psi is the limit and I will be going over that soon.

More than 30 psi !

I prefer psi but no odds really 1 bar = 14.7 psi
