You just need to crack on and get the offside corner tidied up now then

Very impressive, another MRC success, how much more with new inter coolers to come?lynchy wrote:471ps 686NM torque. 465bhp 505 lbs/ft torque.
More torque then before and you really can feel it ! Doug said the intercoolers are holding it back.
Wagners in a month or two

There was a fairly significant difference between the two B8 S4s. We ran back-to-back, and whilst both cars' power and torque curves looked similar Nick's was down all the way through the range. The last graph here shows the two runs overlaid:TechNick wrote:Mine - 445HP (yesterday) vs. 490PS (MRC, few months back) for me, Graham.
473HP was Jay's result yesterday.
Well, a visit to MRC determined the reason behind the difference... heat.jaygemson wrote:There was a fairly significant difference between the two B8 S4s. Same MRC stage 2 tune (albeit mine without the S-tronic map for now), same fuel, nearly identical mileage, both cars run back-to-back. Odd one.
Thanks Mike. Yeah, I'd agree and would be lying if I said I hadn't considered it - just wary of venturing too far into RS4 territory. Keen to differentiate it as a (widebody) S4 rather than an RS4 wannabe. Besides, know from the RS6 how difficult it can be keeping the honeycomb looking its best!MikeFish wrote:Nick you car looks mean on the rollers. Honeycomb grille would make it even meaner.
