anyone know where this blue connector is meant to go? Its at the rear of the engine, has two terminals & its cable is about 8" long comes out of the engine loom at the rear centre.
Its not the aux water pump (black) or the temp sender & the car runs fine! Also no fault codes showing on Vagcom!
Any ideas? Anyone ever had their engine out & unplugged all the plugs?

It could be a spare unused one, have seen that before amny times. Suspect if car running fine and no fault codes then that is what it is.
If I have time at the weekend I will have a look at mine to see if I can see the same blue plug.
