Porsche GT3 Callipers with RS6 drilled discs

Just completed a brake conversion on my RS4 at approx half the cost of a Movit or AP conversion.
The callipers are Prosche GT3 six piston callipers as fitted to the present GT3 Cup race cars, the discs are stock RS6+ (same price as standard RS4 discs) and the pads at present are Pagid RS 421 Black, which give a very progressive peddle feel, and fantastic stopping power.
I would recommend this to anyone considering a brake conversion, its made the car completely different to drive.

I have noticed there is an abundance of porsche 6 pot and even 8 pot calipers on ebay that don't seem too expensive, anyone care to comment? Choice of colours too.

Calipers £220 each
Discs £210 each
Pads £240 for the set

The calipers fit using a machined aluminium bracket, and the discs bolt straight on. The discs are 5mm larger in diameter than the standard solid RS4 disc, which the calliper can accomodate with ease. I'm not sure that the calipers on ebay are the same as they seem to have different different bolt holes to mine. If anyone is interested, I can forward the Porsche part numbers.

the road going part numbers are:
996 351 431 90 left side
996 351 432 90 right side
The race partnumbers are the same, as are the callipers i think. Mine were brought through a company who races and sets up porsche GT3 Cup cars, Parrs motorspport, www.parr-uk.co.uk/

Are you sure the discs are RS6 , because on my car they won't fit

I saw them come out of the box, and fitted with no problem.
Are you fitting them with the standard callipers, as they are 5mm greater in diameter than the standard RS4 discs.

I've already got RS6 callipers fitted on my car for 6 months, but i tried to fit
the RS6+ discs but they get stuck.
The difference between the RS4 disc and the RS6 is not only the diameter that's
no problem, the problem is the center, that's different in hight.

What does your disc get stuck on?
When you say the centre, do you mean the off set of the centre of the disc rotor when compared to the centre line of the caliper, or do you mean the centre of the bell assembly.

No. The original carrier was removed and replaced by a machined aluminium block allowing the brembo caliper to be fixed to the RS4 hub/ strut.
