I've had mine over 2 years which also has the mtm stage3 and the only probs have been the same as rsmonkey, small boost leak (split pipe)new maf and n75s,ow and a split cv boot.So not bad at all,i just hope i haven't jinxed it now
Also i firmly believe in properly warming up and cooling down the engine, its just not worth the risk.

Had mine for nearly 3 years and in that time I've had

New clutch (went at 40k)
New flywheel
New DV's
Y pipe leak fixed
New tailgate trim (corroded)
New MAF (last week - original was fitted)
New O2 sensors (last week)

Despite all the above, the car is a beast and is more or less perefect. The tyres cost alot but then the joy to drive it and look after it is such a buzz.

Took it on Castle Combe a few weeks back and really pushed it, if you want to see how well these cars handle then get it on a track!!!

Anyone who followed Simon Georges orange Murcielago long term test in Evo will be grateful for the reliability of their RS4!
Considering it only really has a bit more power it took a lot of upkeep for a nearly new car and it too is an Audi really.
Same goes for David Yu's 355 with the same bhp as the RS4.

Unlike these two, I don't read much about RS4s having roadside breakdowns here.

Mine at 103k was well maintained but needed;
DVs
cam chain tensioner (ouch!)
thermostat (so had its 3rd cambelt)

Still on original clutch!

Since then all I get is an intermittent secondary air injection system fault code which can be ripped out anyway.

In the last 3 years, all its needed is all the diff seals, rear spring, rear wheel bearings, gearbox mounts, engine mounts, instrument cluster, 2 door speakers, cam cover gaskets, cam chain tensioner, new set of hard wheels, window motor, and a £75 power steering pipe that requires the gearbox out!!!! 2 mafs, and all i had to pay for was the 2 egt's and clutch parts!!! thanks to an audi approved repairer who do as they are told!!!! and a great warranty!!! :D

Is there a specific history to this car? i.e Vandalised & Stolen Recovered x 10?

That is serious Jimbo! You must have some staying power too!
