Oil cooler replacement

Post by maxpedals » Mon Feb 14, 2022 1:43 pm

Has anyone replaced their oil cooler recently? Mines had the usual issue of completely knackered threads.

I've seen this one on eBay, any other options?

That looks pretty good. Haven't seen that before. I'd certainly be tempted to splash out for the ease of installation.

Nice find. If you go ahead and do the install. It could give us all a alternative option.
Look forward to your feedback.

I went for it, now installed and my mechanic was impressed with the quality and fit.

I’ll keep you posted.

Decided to do my oil cooler and pipes today, used all genuine apart from one pipe which I got from RS carparts and it’s really good quality. Also glad to have my oil sweat sorted and not making a mess of my car 👍

That’s my next job. Radiator, coolers and hoses.
Riggs that does look like a really nice job mate.
Just hope I can replicate it.
Have you got details of suppliers / part numbers and approx costs for the hoses.
