Must be something wrong. If it was a good car it would be double the price at that mileage. Look at this for example on the same site but less mileage: http://m.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C690193

theres no way these are dropping price that much...even for a good history rs4 with 90k on clock you can expect at least 17k/18k..if you thinking of buying this one you would expect to do your homework before handing readys over...

FULL history , and I mean full with every receipt , the previous owner had spent near 8k on it

HPI Clear

I paid £13800 and there is nothing wrong with it . as I said above there not 20k motors anymore in my eyes . there a Out of date 10 year old car .

Doesn't sound like you're happy with it Harris. Black Edition? B7's are like all other appreciated older cars, I.e. There is a variety of prices, history, maintenance, etc, etc. Also people have different standards so one man's mint can be another man's dog. I don't think CSL's are worth £70k. Doesn't mean they aren't trading for that though.

Im not un happy with it , ive had many performance cars but im realistic with the prices and the fact there out of date .

Being 10 years old will put many people off as this is when the maintenance will really kick in . New parts etc

Both of those cars are insurance write offs, so will be worth significantly less than a car that has not been written off.

Harris, they are just links to cars, just like the £30k car I posted. Nobody's seen them to comment how good or bad they really are, but they are also double the mileage. Mileage amongst other things seems to command a premium if all else stacks up. We all know prices range from £10k for a crashed one to £32k+ but that's not really the point of the thread. The one posted is very odd at the price and mileage. There's been loads of lower mileage cars avertised here only to be bought buy established dealers and retailed for several k more, so they must be selling. You me post just really says you wouldn't pay the price. Just as I wouldn't want a CSL for £70k.

Nothing wrong with it???

Come on now...once it was seen by some mechanics you were a little phased at the report you were faced with, as mentioned in this thread:

viewtopic.php?t=114702

I also would be interested in what makes you think that yours is a 'Black Edition' ?

Anyway regardless of my above comments. The original topic of conversation was clearly a scam, so time to move along.

As said Audi mentioned that! Ive checked and had my mechanic check and the only thing that needs doing is a drivers side top arm. So on Monday a compete front arm kit will arrive and be fitted.
The car won't be going to Audi again.
Sorry black optics, ie grill, window surrounds exhaust.

So £13800 plus £500 for the compete arm kit. Yes it's done over 100k but In 9 years that's not a great deal

It may well be a scam but there out there
