Engine Fubard ......

Well I have been able to track down that engine rattle I get in heavy traffic when its hot, this is cold start ...

I dipped the engine, i filled it 400 miles ago and its lost half a litre ...

a synical person might suspect the dealers dropped a washer in it for my instance that it works properly and the 6 visits its had back, not me of course :audibash: :assflash:

the mobile audi tech turned it over for 5 seconds and informed me it needed to be recovered

surprise surprise

does anyone have an email for anybody at audi who can actually get stuff sorted?

Have you taken this to the dealer principle?

Get Audi UK involved, a bit painful but go through the process.

Beyond that, go to Martin Sander (martin.sander at audi.co.uk).

from the problems with the RS4 its pretty pointless talking to the lower level peeps as they do not have any authority
