So the service history stops @ 49,500 - 24/06/2008... 3.5 years ago?!?!? Has it been serviced under your ownership, at all?

Do I have to send any monies to a handler in Nigeria?

FON.

/Edit. Tips:

1. Say Hello, or hi people or something like that when you are a total stranger on the forums to help endear yourself to potential buyers.

2. Try posting this in the right forum.

3. Give people a rough idea where you are in the country.

4. Actually service your car as we all know these beasts pretty well on here and what they demand in order to stay in tip top nick ;).

Good luck with your sale ;)

if i was the owner i'd be spending a £1k on it now, you'd get a much quicker sale and a much higher price.

i'm not knocking anyone as i know things are tight out there at the moment, but that would put a lot of buyers off that car, especially those who know what a 6 is like.

good luck with the sale though, that is still cheap for a 6!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!

Webuyanycar.com will give you the best part of £8k for it, I'd take it.
If it's not been serviced in 3.5 years and 22,500 miles it'll be poked. Grizz might take it as a breaker.

I know I'm a relative noob on here, but it bugs me when members only join to sell something.Could it not be made a requirement that you need to have at least 20 posts before you can sell?

hi Lofty,

like you i am fairly new on here, and i see your point.

i only joined to buy a members car, but missed out by days!

thats actually not a bad idea, as forum cars are normally owned by enthusiasts who know what it takes to keep these cars on the roads. we spend a small fortune in maintenace and sensible mods! :kissmyrings:

you have my vote!

FFS what is the point. Really how stupid can people get. Firstly there is a Classifields section on the website, secondly trying to sell an RS6 to someone who most likely already owns one isn't even going to work, maybe to and try selling oil to the Arab's and finally
RS246.com Forum :: The World's #1 Audi R, S and RS Enthusiast Website
enough said.

:assflash:

Seem we are getting far to many of these posts, not sure who to police the problem. I wonder if there is a validation option available.

No mention of the 2nd, identical thread on here posted an hour after the original?

I mentioned this to Mr T ages ago and he made a good point, all they do is post up 20 random post's over other poo just to get to the sale limit
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

Why the harsh treatment?

Footlong: he said nothing about sending money abroad, read the advert again
Shop: there is no similarity in the two ads you posted
maximo: look on the RS6 section, how many other people have posted a for sale thread but you said nothing ?

Circa 8k for a relatively low mileage RS6 which needs some work, sounds reasonable ......

So you prefer alienating the regular contributors to the forum in favour of someone who has broken several forum rules with his 2 (duplicated) spam posts and who only joined to sell a car that has been abused. Good job.
