to switch esp totally off have to hold button 4 at least 10 secs only thing then left working is abs will only reset itself when turn ignition off, will then rest itself to normal mode.

Will have to try that soon

How do you best cope with slowing down for a sharp corner ie. RFB, and then change to LFB? or do you LFB all the time?

Im sure Steve you were trying pretty hard mate, and the other driver was thinking, i dont wannna <beep> this ,it costs £65,000 But the RS4 is a nimbler car in comparision, and with what you have had done is a fomidale car against anything , now if you saw them going around Hockenheim with the ABT Audi drivers in them, i think you would have a different attitude about them

I'm sure your right about burning off the RS6.. but you also need to remember that the car has two settings.. if the driver was in 'D' then the car is quick and comfortable.. he would have had to be in 'S' to have stood any chance.

I was out with a mates RS4 (450bhp AMD) the other day and we really could not find any difference. The cars were very evenly matched.

You probably forget too that maybe your driving skills are better than the RS6 drivers, and of course there is the John reason for not wanting to smash up his pride and joy.

Will be interesting when we get the cars on the track... apparantly the RS6's are lapping the ring quicker than RS4's, but don't know about chipped one
