overfuelling

My RS4 B7 seems to be overfuelling when trying to start and flooding the cylinders, when i take the plugs out there soaked in fuel but i am getting a strong spark, wondering if a knackered lamda would cause it, has anyone had any probs like this ?

deffo lambda had the same issue two months ago.

Thanks for that, i've ordered a precat lamda which i know is broken so hopefully this will sort prob, was wondering if your car would run atol, mine seems to run for a couple of seconds and struggles to take throttle then floods.
