Bad 3 days....

Post by Gasman » Mon Jan 23, 2012 10:36 pm

Hi

At work just now and need to vent my frustration.....

Friday: Put a nasty scratch on the side of the car when drying...there must have been a small fleck of grit on the cloth (lord knows how it got there  )

Saturday: Was driving in the howling wind, mid afternoon. A roof had been blown off a nearby building a while back, but there was a sheet of aluminium flashing that was making hell for leather across the road. Blew across the opposite lane and as I slowed to a crawl, blew diagonally towards me. Bugger all I could do. Now have a handful of scratches on the bonnet and a little on the upper part of the gloss black grill.

Today: Was pulling out of a junction, turning right and was just a little too close to the kerb. Rear drivers' side alloy scuffed.

B0110cks!

They say bad luck comes in 3s.

I have found a compant in Middlesbrough called "Getpolished" (http://www.getpolished.co.uk) and hopefully the battle scars can be dealt with. As for the alloy, well, I know they are 19s and will be prone to a bit of damage, but have found a chap in Wakefield who can do diamond cut rims for a reasonable price, so...

It's sod's law really. I was planning to get the car detailed...hopefully it will bring my Vader back to new.

Regards

PS If anyone can recommend a detailer in Stockton/Middlesbrough or indeed an alloy wheel repairer, please let me know. Cheers
