Folding mirrors and paddle lighting

Post by Ryan_Pestell » Sat Jan 07, 2012 9:10 pm

Hi all,

New to rs ownership and have a couple of questions.

Can mirrors be programmed to work on key or startup, rather than just via the toggle switch?

Also should the paddle + & - light up on the steering wheel?

Finally how do you adjust the temp from the solar sunroof? Or is this not adjustable?

Thanks in advance all.

What options can you program? Lie on BMW there are several options which are dealer enabled.

"coming home" lights?

Also what does the solar roof actually do? Just stores power for ac?

Solar roof powers the internal climate fan to keep the car cool in summer and windows steamed up in winter.
You can buy VCDS and play with a few settings / options but not a lot tbh.

Irrelevant. Long term tube strike

Most of the cool stuff is already activated on the RS6 with the possible exception of the automatic door locking at 10mph.

The vagcom is much more useful for preventing your wallet from committing hari kari when the dash warning lights come on.

On my S6, they (only) light up when you move the lever from D across to Tip.
