WTB Winter wheels/tyres for a4 tdi

As above im looking for tyres only 215 55 16 or set of wheels and tyres if anyone has anything?

Happy 2000th post. 205/55/16 seems to be the a common size, worth looking at both options.

Well spotted and thanks Ian c,I'm not with the car but its normally on 215 do you think dropping to 205 will be within spec for a tdi quattro sport? I've seen some over here in Germany if there ok sizewise? Without the car anyone know were I could check the recomended size?

The wheels will probably be 16x6.5 which would happily take either 205 or 215/55.

I bought a set of wheels in this size for our 2007 Passat so these may be an option for your car? They were genuine VW alloys in mint condition and cost me £220 on ebay, and 2 of the continental tyres were almost new too.

I'd buy your tyres quickly as prices are going up by the week as winter approaches.
