Warranty Direct Renewal....worth a challenge.

So Warranty Direct renewal drops through the letterbox this morning.
£112.50 increase over last year.
Immediate thoughts of re-checking current Audi warranty price, not bothering with a warranty...then let's ring and see what the excuse is.

'Oh sorry Sir, that's a mistake you should be paying exactly the same premium as last year'........

i phoned up because of the same thing and got it for about £50 less than last year

How much does the warranty cost per year and is it any good, have you ever claimed from them.

I've just had my renewal through at £872.50.
One quick call to them and the chap on the phone says....

"The computer automatically generates a renewal price based on last years fee plus a percentage increase in line with increases in manufacturers labour rates"

What!.... so audi labour rates have gone up by 16.3%!!!!

"Oh wait, sorry sir, the RS4 is a fixed price deal, that will be £775 with a £50 excess".

I didn't pay an excess last year?

" The system shows you are liable for a £50 excess Sir".

My policy doesn't!.

" Well if you made a claim then we would need to see proof (of their own paperwork!). No policy we currently offer comes without a £50 excess Sir"
