Turning the "wick" up

Post by Chris24565 » Sat Jul 02, 2011 1:43 pm

Anyone got any recommendations/suggestions for increasing the power on the RS6?

Whilst I am happy with the stock 580PS. Curiosity is starting to get the better of me, especially looking on You-tube at the 750HP Evotech Beast!

Can anyone come up with suggestions where I can get a modification like this carried out and how much should I expect to pay?

Many thanks.

North West, not far from Manchester, but not bothered how far I have to travel to get the right product!

Make a couple of calls, MRC, QST and Unit20.

Take your choice after a chat with each...

Unit20 are the nearest to you and I think they now use Rich from Viper Tuning (tried and trusted) to perform their live remapping.

If you are prepared to travel, MRC have now done quite a few of these with fantastic results. Have a look on YT for MRC RS6. The stage one IIRC will give you around about 700-720hp and is excellent bang for the buck. If you want serious power, they offer their MRC800 package which will yield around 800ps. They can go up to 860ps, though obviously this will cost quite alot since various hardware components will need to be upgraded, along with the live remapping of course.

I used MRC on account of the number they had done so felt secure & comfortable letting them loose on my pride and joy but I can also recomend Rich (Viper Tuning) to be competent with the C6.

Difference from stock is night and day, you will not regret it!!
