3G Sat Nav fault

Post by Scotty » Wed Jun 29, 2011 12:03 pm

I've had 3G SatNav in my car for nearly two years. It's had various updates etc and I still get incorrect instructions at roundabouts. e.g. it says "take the second exit" too late so that it's already passed the first. This then leads you down a wrong exit.

I've got the latest dealer installable updates on and also the 2011 maps.

Audi Customer services have told me they believed this issue was resolved by a previous update so are not aware there's still an issue. My dealer thought the same.

Audi need feedback on this from owners with the problem or it won't get resolved.

Please ask your dealer to raise a DIS Report with Audi UK so that they can pass it on to Germany for resolution.

Cheers

p.s. I know it's not just my car affected. Any of you guys with this issue? Have you raised it etc?

Drives me nuts, tells me to turn left on to the roundabout and it can't count! "Take the second exit"...you mean the first exit then...

Get your dealer to upgrade the software. In most cases it solves the issue.

Mine still has the problem despite them recoding it the other day. They're coming to my house to pull the diags off later to pass up to Audi HQ.
