had a small run with one today, was ahead and stayed ahead, would have liked to have seen it on a empty motorway.... i belive its 0-60 is 4.6sec so would have been a good comparison!

stock RS4 should be faster

2003 Porsche Carrera 4S - 5.1 s 0-60 vs. 4.8 s for RS4 - there are offcial figures offcourse, every car will be a bit different, but still ...

non-Turbo or non-GT3 porkers are not as fast as you might think, especially if its 996 and not 997

CAR and DRIVER tested 2003 Carrera 4S at 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and quarter-mile at 13.1...and loved it!

Being a Porsche driver myself, it may be a little unfair to compare your car against his, after all its a Flat6- vs V8, 320bhp vs 414bhp. There is no competition; any RS4 would show a cooking 911 a clean pair of heels on the straights. Still, sounds like you had a bit of fun with him!

Ah no, wasnt slatting him or the car at all :biggrin3:

Just with the closeness of the 0-60 times, a chance to see how they would have faired would have been nice.
