A Tip When Working On Your Car...

Post by cobraBLACK » Tue Mar 22, 2011 9:49 am

Don't stash your keys and phone in the boot for 'safekeeping' after having opened said boot with the middle fob button, forget and shut the tailgate, all whilst working on your parents' drive.

There was a very worrying minute when I had to scour the wife's handbag because she wasn't sure if she'd brought her front door keys. Luckily she did and luckily I've got a spare car key at home!

Really makes your heart sink that one..

After hearing stories about how some cars lock the doors even if the key is in the ignition I am very wary of shutting the door if the keys are inside the car. :audibash:
