Yes, the ad appears to have been copied, saved and pasted and states "Next service due at 98k"......... but the car has now done 100k!

He is on the forum somewhere, it is a good car but think he will struggle with £15K. I'd love to be proved wrong..... :beerchug:

Yes, that's Ed's old car. I recognise the GPS antenna and the Pioneer stereo.

I wonder why he's selling.

It was only purchased mid Oct last year. It doesn't say why he's selling but he does say he had to extend to buy. Need surplus to run these beasts.
Lovely car with all the right mods.

Hi guys, yeah thats my previous car alright. Mabs (current owner) txt me last week to inform me of its sale and im a bit dissapointed to be honest. Eyes bigger than belly may be the case.

I can't comment on its past 5 months but it was due a service around now so maybe this is the reason for the sale as well as the coming birth if his baby (and the warranty expired on the 3rd of march). I know it had some new tyres fitted around xmas due to a shredded Vred, but i reckon this was down to the appaling roads in the area of its current home (i cringed when i arrived to drop it off). As for the advert, yes he could have been more accurate but thats down to him and ive advised him accordingly. It'll be pecked to death im sure but dont be too hard on him regarding the ad.

Price wise, i know he stretched himself to buy it in the first place. Hopefully he'll get the price he's asking for but the lack of warranty (unless he has renewed) and need for a service will limit him somewhat. Also, the recent drop in value of these cars is a big issue and to be honest im glad i jumped ship when i did. I loved that car but there's no way i'd be expecting a good price for it now. If he gets the £15k asking price then hats off to him, in my opinion its worth the money but thats not the sellers decision. Buyers cash is king.

If anyone here is looking at it as a prospective purchase then you have my word it was a perfect example when it left my hands, as many of you know. You could not have found a better and more pampered car. Hopefully this level of care has been upheld since October and i wish any potential buyer good luck with it.

Eddie

How much would you say is a fair offer on this car now? Don't think it sold and it is my ideal spec and colour combo.

Yeah, looking at what he's saying on srs it seems he's intent on butchering my baby for the track. Oh well!

I can think of more inappropriate track tools but the RS6 is on the list. Hard on brakes, understeery, heavy on rubber. I guess it's good in that it's so fat, it makes it harder to overtake. Odd choice though.

You can't see it, but there's an RS6 about to nip round the outside and overtake them all:

I really wanted this car when Ecain had it for sale but couldn't afford it. Now after saving a little and RS 6 prices sliding a little. I'm hoping I can afford it. It is my second favourite RS 6 after Mo's sprint blue plus. If I can get it at the price I want it, I can afford to maintain It quite well too. Its only going to be on a 5k mile a year policy as a second car and Warranty Direct policy will be going on. I've briefly had a chat with the new owner. It has body coloured mirrors now and black milltek tailpipes. Waiting on pictures but I loved it as it were. Will have to see if its still as nice.
