Some 20 months ago I was amongst a group of Northern RS4 owners who booked a dyno session so I thought a post-installation cold air feed dyno plot was called for to see if this has improved the power output. Same dyno obviously if not the same weather. My car has only covered 8000 miles and has had the carbon gunk cleaned from the valves so that should not be an issue.
Here are the results - an increase of over 21bhp and 17lbft of torque. I now have over 450ps which is in line with MRC magic! It may not sound like much but it's really noticeable on the road. It pulls like a train just about everywhere.
The car originally had the benefit of a full custom exhaust with sport 200 cell cats and a JDE remap.

Subsequently, the manifold was devaned and ported/polished, silicone hose air inlet fitted and a cold air feed/auxiliary radiator delete carried out.

All in all, pretty happy. Perhaps another remap may make better use of the increased air flow so I'll carry out some VagCom readings and send them to Jeroen for his assessment. If further improvements are possible, I may then need to go to MRC coz it's a lot nearer than Holland.
Now, what's next on the list??? My computer gizmo from Race Diagnostics should be installed soon - I'm on my 5th sample of carbon fibre sheet in an attempt to match the RS dashboard but so far, they're all miles off. Can anyone help?
