No, cannot be done with RS4 but can be done faster.

I used to have a Carlton GSi 3000 24v that could do that but I cant see the point of telling folk on an Audi forum that.

It can be doen with the right person driving, Don Palmer managed it, was rather impressed.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Looks like fun.

What are you using for the graphics (overlay)?

Cheers, Mal.

thank you for the "stupid"
sorry but this is not drifting.... this is "stupid" and poor.. really poor power sliding....no angle, no smoke... the only smoke that he can smells is the one coming from the clutch! ... to drift with a 4wd you need more than 600bhp, less than 1400kg and a couple of LSD...
btw he's a really good driver.. good job !

Gee tough crowd here at RS246. The guy is just posting a good video. I'm sure he is not bagging the RS4. His signature suggests he owns one.

Note to self: don't post good race video's my WRX STI Race Car and say the RS4 is slower or I'll get smashed by the RS246 crowd for doing it.

This place needs some anger management classes.

The content of the subject title in itself is provocative. So you can't drift a 4WD car like a RWD car- If I wanted to drift a RWD car I'd buy one; they suit differing purposes. If the OP had come on and said'I thought I'd share this with you of somehting I've done' then it would have probably been viewed differently.

The biggest form of miscommunication is through text and E-mail as people cannot assess the OP's demeanour or intention so assume.

looking for a rear LSD and a viscous coupling central differential... and then i'll show you that also MY Rs4 can drift ! It's time to stop the chronic understeering of this car and start to drive it as a real sport car should be driven. Most of you are now enjoying my idea to polish and clean intake valves and ducts.... may be that one day one of you will follow me in this crazy project too...

p.s. a 4wd car can drift.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TshFWSsrn8 ( this is provocative :-) )

That Ken Block video is insane...seen it before.

And I agree with him....Anto was the first one back in mid-2008 who came on here and shared his experiences with his manifold and the big difference it made. Off the back of that Rob fired his car off to MRC and the rest is history...

Its obvious he is a RS fan (having 2 of them!) but just sharing his experiences in his BM...
