ferrari 430 scuderia spider
I met up by accident with a black 430 scuderia spider and he wanted to play. I gave him a good run for his money, but his gearing him gave him an edge. Great fun though
RE: ferrari 430 scuderia spider
weight may be a factor too?!?

Weight and better aero will give him the advantage everyday of the week. But get that badboy tuned and you'll surprise any supercar owner

Re: RE: ferrari 430 scuderia spider
You won't. Running a DMS 6 at nearly 700bhp, and a convertible Bentley kept up well. A little devastated to say the least.Future_RS6Owner wrote:Weight and better aero will give him the advantage everyday of the week. But get that badboy tuned and you'll surprise any supercar owner
RE: Re: RE: ferrari 430 scuderia spider
and the RS6 is not a super car???
If things got bendy I would expect the Ferarri to have more than an edge....as long as it was not wet, that could even things out!

You had it on independent rollers Robbo? Sounds strange, the Conti Supersports "should" be the only one to give you troubleRobbo66 wrote:You won't. I agree with Nudenut. Power/torque to weight ratios factored in a conti supersports should be the only "trouble" but even then with a remap the RS should eventually see it off. One of my good mates has got an F430 spider and we went to a wedding in our cars up the M11. My car has a remap by Richter sport who reckon its pushing out 649 bhp. And I had the edge on the motorway. I dont mean pulling away at a canter but creeping away when we gave it some and we both had a passenger each. Off the line it may have been a different story as an F430 is obviously way lighter and torque doesnt matter until you get into 3 figures. Ive had comings together with other quick cars; new GTR's and alike and always pulled away eventually but never had an advantage off the line simply because the RS is too heavy. I really want to get mine mapped by MRC to over 700 but im bricking myself if anything goes wrong.
Quattro in all seasons for Ass Kickin reasons.

I've put more than 20,000 miles on mine since MRC tuned it.speedfr38ky wrote:I really want to get mine mapped by MRC to over 700 but im bricking myself if anything goes wrong.

That sounds like you use yours everyday! Certainly reassured me now!

I have both a Bentley GT coupe and an MTM tuned 730HP RS6 and there's no-way the bentley can keep up....trust me on that! 15,000KM and enjoying my ride:)Robbo66 wrote:You won't. He kept up...believe me. I was creeping away but it certainly wasn't the vanishing point that some on here want to believe. Had it mapped to 690 by Mike.///RS6 wrote:I have both a Bentley GT coupe and an MTM tuned 730HP RS6 and there's no-way the bentley can keep up....trust me on that! 15,000KM and enjoying my ride:)Robbo66 wrote:You won't.
