Has anyone got nos yet? Looking to get mine done

Post by jacksrs4 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 1:01 am

Hi. Ive decided to keep my car. Looking to get some mods done. Just feel the car doesn't give me enough power am looking for, cant afford a supercharger or turbo charge the care. So i thought nos would be my cheaper option. Has anyone got nos, is it worth it and is it safe. :P

Get in touch with either NOSWizard or Wizard of NOS near Doncaster IIRC as they did the RS4 sonny mentioned. Not sure what happened to it TBH. It was due to run at Santa pod but IIRC didn't do well because of a nozzle issue.

IIRC Supersprint were developing new exhaust manifolds which would up your power by anything between 30-50bhp if done right.

I`ve finished fiting a system to my rs4. Waiting for the re-filling equipment to arrive so I can fill the bottle .

Have you details on the install duud40? And have you investigated the manifold cleaning properties of NOS?

N2O as a gas can`t clean the intake valves. It gets used too rarely , it doesn`t disolve gunk and it`s not cold enough/there`s not enough of it flowing past the valves to freeze the gunk up. Maybe the fuel that goes in at the same time...
