Car damaged by Dealer whilst doing a repair..

Post by boulevard » Sun Jul 04, 2010 11:04 am

Hi, after some advice. My S4 cab went to Audi (bradford) to get the sat nav gps aerial fixed. They have done this but broken the radio aerial in the process, radio gets no reception.

They have said to me twice they have broken it but are asking me to pay for the repair. This seems unfair too me, but unsure of where I stand.

Any advice greatly received

I would expect them to pay for the damage that they have caused. I would speak to the manager and state that if you do not get it repaired for free, you will be contacting Audi UK to complain about such poor service

Small claims court? About £15 now I believe.

My local Audi dealer is useless aswell. No knowledge of anything outside the guide book or trying to flog finance

You could remind them of this story, might focus their attention.. a bit

They have already admitted causing the damage so they should fix it ASAP and FOC plus discount any work as a goodwill gesture.
