Track Rod Ends...Is this ok?

Post by SpeedJunky » Wed Jun 09, 2010 9:19 pm

Hi,
I am having steering wobble, so I decided to have a look at the track rod ends of my RS4. I cannot detect any play in either track rod end, but one of them on the nearside seems to be bent of pushed forward at the bottom. Is this ok? Or should I seriously think about a replacement?

Thanks,
SpeedJunky

It's normal. They swivel there and at the steering rack so you will be able to grab it and straighten it up, not that it matters. It'll probably be a buckled wheel or an egg in the tyre.
