Dedicated Customer Service Desk for R/RS customers

Post by Sims » Fri May 21, 2010 3:40 pm

Hi Guys

Clearly we never hear of the good service offered by Audi Customer Services - that's the nature of the beast.

But time and time again, we hear of mediocre and quite poor service for us RS owners. This is not satusfactory.

Really Audi should have a dedicated services desk, offering a premium service reflecting our commitment to their flagship products i.e kind of Platinum service instead of Green or Gold :)

We should not have to write to Jeremy Hicks to sort out everyday issues.
Here is an example, but there are many as you all know.

What do you guys think?

I think you're never happy unless you're on a crusade - are you adding this to your DRC, carbon and warranty cost obsessions?

Although an RS is exclusive ish... (Almost as common as Aston's these days) it is not reflected in the price, a V10 R8 / RS6 in the high 5 figures / 6 figures yes. But not a B7 RS4.

Don't want to offend anyone they are awesome cars but at the end of the day in down to £££££££££ lots of them.......

I think tho, audi advertise them as their top of their respective range cars.

Whether there's 20 or 40 grand between 4 & 6's or 6 & 8's, they're still meant to be top of the range - aftercare shoud also be top of the range

Do BMW do the same for their M cars? Do Merc do it for AMGs?

No. So don't see Audi doing it.

Focus on the issue, please

It may be that you are very happy with the service offered by Audi Customer Services, but clearly there are many who are not and especially those in a position to compare.

Ditto for the other issues you chose to bring into this subject. They all affect the ownership experience.

BMW customer service are generally pretty good, and Mercedes is not too bad too (although their company owned dealerships are not too hot!).

The centre that deals with customer services also deals with VW,Seat
Skoda & I do wonder if that dilutes the service.

I am told R8's do have a dedicated customer services desk at Leeds.

Too many S cars..... so that would dilute the effort...

However if it's an S8, there is a dedicated services desk - for all A8's I think.

I agree, RS cars have the kudos and poor/mediocre service is undoing the work to get the customer there in the 1st place.

Whereas great service does quite the opposite - a customer who has had a problem resolved to his 100% satisfaction is more brand loyal than a customer who has never had an issue.
