Believe it or not...

Today I had a little race with a Ferrari California. Believe it or not but I kept up. I guess that sort of ends all of the discussion on how underpowered our cars are :P

The California weighs less and has more power, 0-60 is almost a second quicker. Was it raining, perhaps it wasn't run in?

Just overcast. Presumably the california isn't as fast as we think it is? Or maybe the driver was just toying with me? :P

Well I don't know, if you were really pushing it then I don't think there would be an issue of toying - the RS isnt that much slower and usually sports car drivers tend to know to treat our wolf in sheep's clothing with caution and would plant the right foot fully. I also don't know if the 0-60 in 4 seconds is using any special launch or race mode which perhaps wasn't employed. I think the 430s etc can only launch about 4 times before the clutch is destroyed.

the skill (or lack of) of a driver can be just as decisive a factor, unless its a straight line...even then it depends how many points theyv got ;-)
