S5 + baby

Post by el_ringo » Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:51 pm

Hi,

I currently have a C5 RS6 and the missus has a boxster, and I want something VAG based to replace the porker. I really don't want an A4 avant and the sportbacks are too expensive. Has anyone manged to use an S5 for a infant? I know it is not ideal, but would have the 6' for long haul trips with baby ringo.

I've recently changed from an RS6 to an S5 and have 2 young kids. It was a bit awkward when the youngest was still in a full baby seat. As soon as I could change I bought a Recaro cross over seat. It's a kind of half way house between booster and full baby seat. It still has the full harness, but has a much slimmer profile.
I guess not being over tall makes it easier too. I'm only 5'8", so there's plenty of room behind my seat.
Currently have an RS6 and recently sold my V6 S4.
