I know that car as I went to view it for a fellow member when it was for sale near J3 M42 by a small home based dealer
It wasn't a bad car but had a load of VAG COM faults and dealer wouldn't negotiate

I thought approved used was only up to 60k miles

if its sold under Audi approved scheme, then ALL faults would need to be rectified within 30 days or they give you a refund

..they haven't even changed the number plates which makes me wonder if it's even been through the usual pre-sale prep and check process

whats wrong with the number plate?
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

no, its not capped to 60k (my B7 is north of 60k bought at Audi)

if its an Approved Audi, all you need to do is take it straight to MRC, identify any faults and drop it back at Audi with a list of things that need sorted or you will have your refund thank you very much

no brainer really... :?

..if I was buying a car from an Audi Centre I wouldn't expect to have 'Fontain' on the number plates

As part of the Approved Used package the dealer has to fill in a check list checking a lot of items and I can't imagine many RS4s being 100% clear on this.

I still suspect this wont be Approved Used but maybe sold with a lesser grade warranty but I am happy to be corrected.

BTW it had bills for a new lock set which the dealer didn't realise...

i would hazard a guess that the fact its on the Audi locater suggests it will be Approved Used

Pretty sure that was one I saw advertised elsewhere, and it lists Audi/specialist service history.

Personally I would prefer certain specialists stamps over Audi, but think a full Audi history is a pre-requisite for the Approved scheme.

Yeh im sure ive seen it before was it someone on here moving on to a b7? The warranty side of things nowadays on a b5 from a main dealer could need a bit of checking out, overall though better peace of mind from a main stealer, priced reasonably and you can always get at least a grand off!!!!!!! @ £13.5k i would of put up with no sunroof if i was looking for one!

LOL I must have missed that.

Looks like a nice example, Not one that is clued up on the B5 RS, are sunroofs a must have or just personal preference?
