Front Splitter Recommendations
Hi.
I think the B6 S4 needs to be less rounded at the front but I don't don't wanna mess around cutting bits of plastic.
Can anyone recommend a front splitter that'll fit straight on?

Seat Cupra R may do... with a bit of trimming but taking a few inches off either end isnt exactly hard.
I have one on the B5 RS4 and looks great
ok... its not your model car but worth a look at what we have done on our cars

I'm yet to see one that looks 100%. Cupra is my fav but still looks bolt on. I'm thinking about getting the Oettinger front bumper for a more aggressive look

Thanks for the replies.
I was expecting companies to have made some specifically for the S4 that bolts on with no mods needed.

I've seen one advertised on eBay in the past few weeks, can't find the link now as I'm at work but just try searching for it.

I think I may have seen the same one but it said it would need to be modified to fit.R33 wrote:I've seen one advertised on eBay in the past few weeks, can't find the link now as I'm at work but just try searching for it.

Decided to go the Seat Cupra front splitter this weekend. Now I don't have to spend my cash on repairing the car I'm finding other ways to waste my money. It took me about an hour to fit using duck tape to temporary locate it and then Torx head screws to fit it permanently. Obviously there is a bit of cutting to do to make it look a natural fit.
It defiantly sharpens up the front end looks.

There is trimming to do as you would expect if parts are from another car. I think it does look good and suites the car but not sure if its an OEM look I suppose because its not OEM.
I would of took it straight off if it didn't look right. You would need to look at the car in person to make a decision I suppose.
The reason people are doing this mod is due to how round the front of the car is and I think (personally) the car needs to be a bit more aggressive but not too much though as this would defeat what the S4 was all about. As you probably have seen the Subaru's and Evo's have gone for the similar, but still less understated/sophisticated look nowadays.
Coming from a cabriolet before I bought my S4 I was looking for an the S4 Cabriolet but the front looked too weak so chose the saloon.

Be careful with these guys, make sure they are very well attached as the air pressure at 160mph+ is immense. I had my splitter come off my GTR at about 170mph many moons ago due to a body shop only using about 10 of the 25ish fitting points to attach it. Thankfully it hit the road and didn't go under the wheels at I might have done a Mark Webber!
