The only way I could manage that was if I told them it was garaged overnight. And all day. 24x7.

That's very good! Do you mind disclosing some of the basics that affect premium such as age, marital status, NCB, points?

Was that fully comprehensive?

What voluntary excess have they stung you for?

It seems like a real bargain!

I'm 34 and have just renewed with Admiral on a multicar policy. £238 for mine and £260 for my fiancee's A3 1.9TDi.
That includes me claiming £2750 last October when a deer hit my car.
I have 11 years NCB (protected) and now have a £500 excess.
I'd give them a go, as they seem to offer by far the best deal ;)

there's some stunning deals being quoted...
i'm shopping around for renewal at the moment.
i'm 44, 9ys NCD protected but with windscreen claim last year, 1xSP30 in 2005 & the missis is 39, 8 yrs NCD, 1xSP30 in 2005 (that was a bad year..!)
no voluntary excess, protected NCD, garaged, courtesy car, legal cover
best so far is swiftcover at £400
worst is £900 with Direct Line

i was quite chuffed with the £400 quote until I saw some of these..!!
i'm an old git and still seem to be stung - my theory is that i'm "flagged-up" on the common database as a long-term risk due to previous speeding (bike & car)...harumph..!!
