Convincing Audi that suspension is f*cked
How do I do this.>?
Audi changed 1 shocker but the car is very sloppy. MRC confirmed that the suspension is f*cked. How do I get them to change it properly for once and for all?

The only once and for all answer would be coils but I can't see a franchised dealer agreeing to it.
Are they in disagreement with what MRC have told you? Have they not found anything else wrong with the other shocks?
Independant report from MRC or verification from another dealer may help.

just be clever and spray DW40 on all 4 shocks then take it to Audi for inspection it will appear that all shocks are leaking, it's cheeky but hey it will save you <beep> loads of money.

MRC have noted on thier invoice that the shockers are fcuked. I am going back in on Wednesday for an inspection at Audi. My father-in-law MOT'd the car in Oct and said he thought they were all buggered. Audi changed one, MRC confirmed the set had gone. I trust MRC's judgement over Audi any day but the complete set was changed in April 2008 by the previous owner so I am claiming a new set under the 2year parts and labour warranty...

Rob, I'd take it to Camberley and get them to check it out. it's clear not all Audi Service centres are created equal. From my experience you'll get an honest appraisal at the very least. then you can work out your next step from there.

Fraser - you mentioned this the other day to me. The car is booked into Swindon on Wednesday and then if I get no joy, I'll pull you for your contact at Camberly.

Alex - are you saying that the Audi warranty will pay for an independent to fix it properly...?Cornishmoocher wrote:if you have warranty- I know grizz can sort it out for you, he has done all of my warranty work.........

I am 99.9% sure that the official Audi all component cover will only pay Audi garages.
No such restriction with other warranties though.
