Unusual RS6 ad on pistonheads

Post by SimonC » Thu Dec 17, 2009 10:22 am

Just came across this, apologies if it is old news. I am quite intrigued. Anyone know the story behind this?

Winchester cars is in Sheffield. The owner seems to be quite famous among the Pistonheads fraternity. I have to confess that my first guess was that something illegal is involved, but that's before the mother-in-law's earring theory was suggested. Perhaps he just realises that it was a really good car and would like to buy it.

That is VERY weird - I smell a rat. If I had bought the car or knew who had I'd be going over it with a fine tooth comb right now :-) You never know your luck.

I wonder if the new owner has read these threads. First thing I did was find a forum when I bought mine, he's bound to have gotten wind of this... I'd be locking the bugger up tight...
