Diverter Valve Replacement guide

Post by beejay » Tue Dec 01, 2009 7:48 am

Just about to replace both DV's and am looking for some advise / DIY step by step guide. Ive searched the forums but not had any joy in finding a post.

Any one got an advise on location and removal steps ?

Thanks in advance

Might be worth replacing the small vac lines and clips which go to the T-piece between the two DV's when you do this as well.

I've found leaks here in the past.

What DVs did you put on? 710N? Does anyone know the difference between the 710N and the 710P that I've got on mine?

The 710P is what goes on the RS6. Same as the 710N but (I presume) with slightly different spring / diaphragm properties. I was just wondering if anyone knew the difference in driving experience between the two.
