What is the maximum miles shown on the DIS After Full Tank

After filling up to full tank and even filling right to the top of the funnel the DIS indicates as far as I recall 235 miles max. This figure always seems to be static when ever I fill up the v8. Does this calculate on average and display or its just the RS4 static limit shown?

Does this vary for you guys?

I'm sure it goes on your recent average.
Filling up at motorway services I've seen it reading well over 300 miles.

The figure it shows is based on the average mpg over the last few miles of the previous tank.

I usually see a number around 265 when I fill up during a working week, and I have seen 325 when filling up on holiday - although in my previous job I once saw 185!

Always 300 + for me. Best I've seen is 360 after a long trip.

On my A3 I've seen 910...having already driven 122 miles...

320 is the best on the RS4 for me.

Reguarly 350+ on mine when I fill up.

Probably due to 2 factors-:

I fill up on the way to work which is several hundred feet lower than home, which in traffic usually means the Ave fuel consumption is around 30

I will usually be driving like miss daisy to ensure I actually get to the petrol station

the millage shown on the display was at 9999 for total and guess was at the max. I had not reset it before so calculation was always at 235 miles mark.

Once I reset the miles and average mpg and full 60 liters of RON99 the total miles on tank was shown 340!!
