RS6 C5 trye choice and performance...

Hi,

Currently running 255/35 Conti Sport Contact3 ... tryes are great for grip and longivity, however not so good for protecting the rims from curbs !!! was told by another RS6 owner that he uses GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC - 275/30R19 96Y XL FP TL.. tryes that work very well and provide that extra rim protection..... oh, and cheaper.....

Has anyone used these or think of any issues ?? other than the obvious ride hardness and road noise from a lower profile ??

Don't know about the size, but can confirm that the Goodyears are fab tyres. Currently on set No.2 and cannot fault them. Conti-2's before and an improvement on the roads in my neck of the woods....
