What garage floor?

Post by RS4Kev » Mon Oct 26, 2009 9:48 pm

Shiny new double garage in need of a decent floor. Thinking about these PVC type tiles, anyone tried them as wouldn't want to waste part of the replacement car fund at this stage :P

Just posted this on another forum...I put down some Ecotile 6 HJT's about 7 months ago. So far these have been great. I bought them from http://www.versatileflooring.co.uk worked out to be about £19 per sqm with a bit of a discount.

How are the tiles laid? Loose, or stuck down?
You can cut them to go around various projections (brick piers and the like) ?

The ones i have are interlocking and laid straight on the floor (loose), they cut with a stanley knife and a straight edge no problem.
You can also take them with you if you move.

I find thee only thing with garage floor paint is when you put the car away wet it tends to stick to the tyres, when you next get your motor out you have anoying patches on you wheels(maybe just my garage though), Gonna hopefully Tile my floor when i find the time.
