New S4 owner - Chrome detailing?

Hello All,

I am a new S4 Avant - Nogaro Blue owner. Car is an on 03 plate and in very good condition. Only issues being the chrome window trim, roof rails and the mirrors. It looks like they have been cleaned and then the water allowed to just dry.

Are there any tips on how to clean / restore so that I can get a polished look as if they were new?

Any tips advice would be much appreciated!

I have a '53 plate A4 AVANT and my window trim and roof rails have the same problem. They're 'milky'...

I have tried alsorts to remove/improve the look, but, each and everytime I failed.

They're damaged. It's been caused by a strong TFR likely used at a hand car wash or similar in a previous life. Gutted
