I've just bought..

Post by MartWilliams » Mon Sep 28, 2009 7:43 pm

Hello all :bigwave:

Well I've bought Orinocos' very nice Misano red C5 Avant and I'm very pleased with it

It is running an ecu map, H&R's and full Miltek so is a lot of fun to drive.

I've also just bought the car reg R66 AWE, which should look good on the car with a carelessly placed screw plug  RS6 AWE

AWE, from the dictionary; Mixture of wonder and dread, a feeling of amazement and respect mixed with fear that is often coupled with a feeling of personal insignificance.

I was just going to have my initials at the end, but I like AWE more

I'm normally pootling around in my Audi A2 so it's nice to get knowing nods of respect from other drivers.

Had a guy in a lambourgini pull along side me on my second day of ownership, wind his window down and ask a few questions about the car and ended the conversation saying how much he liked the RS6's. Cool

Regards,
Martin

Cheers guys :biggrin2:

Sorry Tony, hope you get back into something that puts a smile on your face soon :redrs4:

There is another advantage to the car too, my 6 year old neice did say the car would make me more attractive to the ladies - hopefully this effect isn't restricted to 6 year olds though

funny enough i bought a A2 tdi on Saturday and my daily car was my RS6,
still keeping the beast though.

It's a good plan!

They are very good little cars and with the RS6 you've got a pretty good team. Pull the seats out of the back of the A2 and you've got a useful van. Average out the costs of running the 2 and it's not so bad - sort of.

The tdi is the one to go for of the A2's, great economy and a tourquey little 3 pot engine.

LOL, I second that!

Martins' Misano is quick to say the least, sounds awesome, I WANT V8!!!!

Have to say, the colour has really grown on me after seeing it today, very very nice, and when trying to chase, i mean keep up with it, it looks even better, you can spot it a mile off!
