Do i need a new lead?

Scanned my b7 but only got about half the results i normaly get,do i need a hex lead to get full data? The engine results were missing which is what i was after

On a B7 the engine ECUs are normally use CAN diagnostics, so if you don't have a CAN capable lead then they won't appear.

Best go for a HEX-USB+CAN. Ross-Tech do upgrade deals, email them or check out their website.
