Running too rich?

Post by TopBear » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:56 pm

Looking at the 2nd figures them seem to be higher than I remember before, though the 'idle' figures are down from ~8% since I got the SAI vacuum pipes sorted

Address 01: Engine (8D0 907 551 K)

Group 032: Lambda Control (Mixture Adaptation)

2.1 % Adaptation (Idle) Bank 1 Sensor 1
-16.4 % Adaptation (Partial) Bank 1 Sensor 1
0.8 % Adaptation (Idle) Bank 2 Sensor 1
-17.2 % Adaptation (Partial) Bank 2 Sensor 1

No DTC's logged in the engine module.

If already looked here http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Fuel_Trim_Info

and here http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1265064 , but none cover high -ve values. :?

you have an air leak . check and change the vac valve under the air filter housing. Can be seen if you remove the wing liner on O/S/F
