Just joined the forum since we now have a 2001 S4 Avant in silver. We moved to California from the UK last August and haven't looked back since.
The avant has StaSSis Koni coilovers, neuspeed rear ARB, 19" ABT SP1s, RS4 clutch and an APR stage 1 remap. I'm waiting on Piano black trim to arrive from Germany right now and the car is in the shop getting the cam cover gaskets replaced. Pics will be up once it gets back.
Would really love an RS4 but unfortunately they were never officially imported over here
