I woke up this morning to find a small pool of oil underneath my left front wheel. The whole shock is covered in it. So, its a call to Audi tomorrow to hear what they say. Wish me luck :|

Annoying though it is, it is all covered by warranty.

In the UK we have been given an extension of the original warranty to 5 years from initial registration on DRC parts.

Yes for all UK-registered.

You will only be notified if you raise a fault - simply as Audi understandably don't wish to write to the (so they say) 90% of owners who do not have faults and frighten them.

However, all you need to do is say that you would like confirmation of the 5-year (and/or 75k miles, whichever is first)) warranty and they will do so.

I thought that it was if you had a fault within the 3 years it was extended to 5 years? this is all a bit grey... and its unlikely that Audi will clarify it for us due to not wanting to "create panic". lol

Nope, I've not had a DRC fault but I wrote to Jeremy Hicks and I have a letter from him confirming the warranty extension on my RS4.
