ADU RS2 (94-96), 315HP/410Nm: 300kPa. allows above 1.5bar. PM S2 tuner on the forum and ask his advice or Doug at MRC

RE: Map Sensor!
Real Bosch 300kPa MAP sensor is not available anymore and hasn't been for the last 6 years. I sold my last one to a customer 3 weeks ago. From now on, only replicas are available, but they work really well too.
RE: Map Sensor!
not even directly from Audi or Bosch you cannot find them?? that is most interesting!
RE: Map Sensor!
Bosch has stopped making them, Audi never got internal MAP sensors for any ECU separately.
RE: Map Sensor!
And where can one obtain such a replica from?
RE: Map Sensor!
www.MRCTuning.com for instance
but I'm wondering why you, Moh, would need one??

RE: Map Sensor!
Stop making the part? That's a bit militant on Audi's part. I assume then that there is a way around it to execute a boost pressure over the 1.5bar limit if you couldn't get hold of one?

By the way, how much are MRC peddling the RS4/RS6 hybrids for?

RE: Map Sensor!
Hang on, if you have an RS2, you can run up to 2 bar on the stock MAP sensor.
RE: Map Sensor!
Blower has an S4. Was wondering whether to go for an upgraded Map sensor or stick with the normal one.
I thought youd never ask Mihnea. I was wondering whether to leave mine standard or get the uprated special MRC one. Im keeping my car for another year so deciding to upgrade it a little, past 1.5 bar. I know I dont need to change the MAP sensor but its an option. If you can tell em any advantages to why I should change it that I dont know about then that will be dandy. And PMing a price for it too.
Thanks for the reply

RE: Map Sensor!
I think you guys missed the fact that this is the RS2 forum????
RE: Map Sensor!
It wa spsoted in the RS2 forum because it wa sassuemd that the upgraded part was an RS2 map sensor so its most likely that RS2 users will have details for it.
RE: Map Sensor!
wrong, the RS2 sensor is mounted INSIDE the ECU, the upgraded one for S4/RS4 (which has nothing to do with all I've said in this thread) is mounted just before the throttle body.
RE: Map Sensor!
Was told this earlier today by someone before I looked at this post. My friend blower alerted me to the fact that he had posted this question this afternoon.
So lets forget the RS2 one. Ermm as were here, you may as well enlighten us with your wise wisdom on why the upgraded replica one would be of advantage to us. Hes planning on running 1.7 bar peak and im planning on running 1.8 peak. How would the ones you sell benefit us and would we need them?
Also just for some info, the one that was being used 6 years ago. Where was that used? In an S4 / RS4?
Thanks again
