Searching

Post by Jarv » Wed Feb 13, 2008 4:53 pm

I don't seem to be able to grasp the theory on searching on the forum. I know someone recently posted something about their passenger seat would go up, but not down, or the other way around, and I'm trying to find it. I've tried searching in the RS4 B5 forum, and the main search facility, but have come up with nowt. What's the best way of looking?

I put 'seat and 'up' in search box, ticked the 'search all terms' bit and selected B5 RS4 section.

Helps if you search "posts" and not the default "topics"

Obviously using this search - http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNp ... ile=search

Cheers Phil (and Mike).

Might have been obvious to you Phil, but I was using the 'Search' button on the menu bar along the top:

http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=Search

Which is different to the search facilty link that you posted.

The search button still seems to go to the 2nd link (eg the one where nothing can be found.)

Use the search link under the banner, i.e. the one to the left of profile, not the one in the banner.
