Wheel spacers..... how wide can i go on the rear????

Looking to get some H&R wheels spacers... was thinking 15mm front, 35mm rear to get a wider stance..... my cars on 19s and isnt lowered.... will spacers through out handling etc???? will the wheels rub???

If you're thinking about 35mm each side then you'll have major issues. 15/16mm at the rear is about the limit. 10mm each for the fronts (15mm's look daft - been there, done it, changed back).

And don't forget you'll need longr whel bolts. Standard bolts have 27mm threads, so you'll need 27mm + what ever spacer size you're using.

How come i will have issues??? so 10 front and 15 back??? will that make a big difference in looks as at the moment with 19s (not lowered) it looks daft as they are set right into the arch...plus they have a deep lip so it looks worse.... if you look on the post i did earlier 'new rims' youll see what i mean....

Yeah Scott, I did have a look at those pics and it made me wonder what width/offset those things are.

If you go too extreme with the spacers you'll end up rubbing the tyres on the arches everytime you try and push it round a corner.

think there et 40??? not sure. They were from potn and they advised on the best size and correct pcd as i origionally wanted a 9j rim on the rear to make it a touch wider.... From yor pic i can see ya front wheels are nearly in line with your arches which looks really good and is the look i wanted.... what set up have you got ie wheel size, off set / spacers???? cheers. scott
