first trip to mrc

Post by irbell » Sun Sep 16, 2007 11:46 am

hi, first post so be gentle with me!! went to see Doug yesterday at mrc ,after many sleepless nights worrying if the turbo fairy had come a knockin, turns out the maf,had taken the egt,and both lamda sensors ,also Amersham audi had fitted the wrong spark plugs!.After a few hours burning his hands and a custom remap it's now running better than ever with a maf reading of 270 ,also had the h and r arb's fitted ,just like to show my appreciation to Doug for putting up with me for a few hours .he really is a smashing bloke with patience of a saint ! .Would'nt hesitate to recommend ,ta Belly

Welcome

270 is a very good MAF reading for a standard (remapped) car.

Yes, VAG-COM is an invaluable tool, and worth every penny, IMHO.

If you can use a computer, you'll soon get your head around VAG-COM
